Damien Q. Elias
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Damien Elias Damien Q. Elias serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CampusDoor. He founded the Company in 1995, negotiated the sale of the Company to Lehman Brothers in 2006 and worked for over a year in structuring the purchase of the Company from the bankruptcy estate in 2009. Over the last several years he has expanded the Company’s product line and marketing channel reach. Mr. Elias focused on leading the Company’s efforts to expand by developing new relationships with clients and channel partners as well as identifying acquisition opportunities. Employed since inception, Mr. Elias was instrumental in securing venture financing for the Company during challenging economic periods. CampusDoor operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Lehman Brothers Bank.

After a successful, 10-year career with the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), a 3,500-employee guarantor and loan servicer and one of the largest providers of alternative student loan programs in the US, Mr. Elias began formulating a plan to make alternative loans more accessible for families, students, and individuals seeking the rewards of continuing and higher education. While at PHEAA, he designed and implemented education finance products and services for over 350 financial institutions and developed new loan programs producing billions in loan portfolios over a four-year period. He played an instrumental role in the design, administration and operational support for the first public securitization of student loans in the industry and has created dozens of affinity-marketing programs for major financial institutions throughout the United States.

Sondra Wolfe

Sondra Wolfe Sondra Wolfe serves as the CAO/CIO of CampusDoor. Ms. Wolfe was active in the creation and growth of the Company since its inception in 1995. When CampusDoor merged into Lehman Brothers in August, 2006, she was named Senior Vice President and CIO. In early 2007, her duties were expanded and she added the title of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). In addition to overseeing Facilities Management and Corporate Services, Ms Wolfe manages the Information Technology and Project Management areas and is instrumental in facilitating the execution of the Company’s initiatives.

Ms. Wolfe began her professional career at IBM, where she served in systems engineering and marketing capacities. After a successful, 10-year career with IBM, she founded a number of companies where she worked with customers in various industries evaluating existing corporate operations and streamlining procedures by implementing technological enhancements. Ms. Wolfe founded and operated a high speed cable Internet Service Provider in the mid 1990’s; and developed a number of Internet and stored value payment products including one of the first Internet shopping carts and the ubiquitous “buy button”. Ms. Wolfe was involved in the implementation of a merchant payment processor located in Dublin, Ireland, the product development related to that processor, and the integration of various EU portfolios onto the Ireland processing system.

Bo W. Lycke
Vice Chairman and Director

Bo W. Lycke serves as Vice Chairman of Campus Door Holdings, Inc He co-founded the original company, Campus Door, Inc with Damien Elias in 1995, and served as Chairman until its sale to Lehman Brothers, Inc in 2006. As Chairman, his activities were focused on funding the rapid growth the Company experienced over a 10-year period.

Prior to Campus Door, Inc, Mr. Lycke worked in the oil and gas industry. He was the founder of Scanoil, Inc, a New York-based international oil trading firm, and Scandrill, Inc, a Texas-based oil exploration company. Both companies developed sizeable operations in their sectors. Later commercial activities involved venture capital/management in financial services, commodities trading (metals), and healthcare software.

Steven Winnie
EVP, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Counsel

Steven Winnie Steve Winnie is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Counsel for CampusDoor. He also heads the Compliance Department. In this role, Mr. Winnie oversees all operational, legal and regulatory matters and manages all outside counsel relationships. Mr. Winnie has established a robust Regulatory Compliance Program at CampusDoor which includes a Quality Control Review and Reporting Process which serves to mitigate regulatory risk across all loan programs. Mr. Winnie originally joined CampusDoor in February 2006 and left in 2008 after the Lehman bankruptcy filing to join Sallie Mae as Associate Counsel.

He rejoined CampusDoor in late 2009. Prior to working for CampusDoor, Mr. Winnie worked in private practice in the Commercial Litigation Department of Philadelphia based Pepper Hamilton, LLP. Mr. Winnie is a graduate of the ABA National Compliance School held in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Winnie is admitted to practice law before the state and federal courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Victor A. Bertoty
EVP, Sales and Marketing

Victor Bertoty Mr. Bertoty focuses on promoting CampusDoor's service offering. Most recently, Mr. Bertoty served as Senior Vice President of Client Relations at Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) where he was responsible for the Marketing and Sales of Products and Services, including Federal Loan Guaranty, Federal and Private Loan Origination and Servicing and Lending and Management Reporting. Prior to PHEAA, he held various management and executive positions at Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh directing Consumer Lending Businesses and Operating Divisions in Retail Banking. Mr. Bertoty attended the Pennsylvania State University.

Ed Piccolo
VP and Chief Architect, Information Technology

Ed Piccolo Mr. Piccolo is an application design specialist with over 25 years experience in information technology and over 8 years experience in education finance. Mr. Piccolo led the development of CampusDoor’s 2nd generation loan origination platform in 2005 and its continual enhancements to meet the fast paced changes of the education industry. He has a diverse background in industries including education finance, credit card processing, manufacturing, health care and retail, along with experience in both private and government organizations. His experience includes leading development teams through system builds, guiding companies through technology conversions, leading support teams for mission critical applications and setting technology strategies for businesses. Mr. Piccolo prides himself on being able to bring business and technology together to build better solutions to grow CampusDoor.

Peter Zandvoort
VP and Chief Technologist, Information Technology

Peter Zandvoort Mr. Zandvoort is a broad spectrum technologist with a 25 year background in hardware and software design and a focus on IT systems infrastructure. Mr. Zandvoort designed and implemented the original CampusDoor network and systems and has supported them for the last 12 years. Mr. Zandvoort’s past experience includes creating a provisioning platform for cable modem Internet operators, creating a smartcard payment application and Internet payment gateway for a large credit card processor, and creating and running CampusDoor’s mission critical IT infrastructure. Most recently, Mr. Zandvoort successfully led his team through a complete technology refresh and integration with Lehman Brothers and is coordinating the rebuilding of the Company’s infrastructure. His areas of expertise include desktop, servers, networking, security and voice. Mr. Zandvoort is convinced that technology only exists to empower its users.
