Thank you for your interest in a Brazos Student Refinance Loan! Before you proceed, please keep in mind that, at a minimum, to qualify for a loan, you must meet the following:

A FICO score of at least 720, or, if applying with a cosigner, your cosigner must have a FICO score of at least 720

A minimum income of at least $60,000, or, if applying with a cosigner, your cosigner must have a minimum income of at least $60,000

Must be a Texas Resident

Must be refinancing qualified education loans used to pay for qualified education expenses at an accredited school eligible for federal financial aid. For the School Information requested below, please provide the most recent Eligible School attended by you or your student and for which there are outstanding education loan(s) that are included in the list of loans you wish to refinance

While other requirements do apply, we hope these minimum requirements will help you make an initial, informed decision on whether or not to proceed.
